As I recently enjoyed an evening with Paul Hollywood (unfortunately with
several thousand other females) I thought we could use this as our
theme with everyone bringing along a Hollywood bake. If you don't have
one of his books you can find plenty of recipes on the internet whether you
fancy baking bread, pies or cakes.
Meeting will take place on Thursday 12th June 6-8pm at Grill 48 Dunfermline.
Unlike
other cake clubs, there are no rules. So whether your preference is
cake, biscuit, muffins or bread, you are welcome here. You don't need to
be an expert baker to join in, just a love of baking.
If you would like to join me for cake, coffee and chat, please email fifebakingclub@gmail.com with your name and what you will be baking by Friday 6th June.

Fife Baking Club - The Food of Love 13th February
Love was in the air when Fife Baking Club had a Food of Love theme on Thursday 13th February. There were plenty of hearts and chocolates to go around everyone at our new venue - Grill48.
Megan from Grill48 even joined us for the evening and baked some delicious heart biscuits.
I baked Champagne Cupcakes but had to admit that I had to get up at 07.30am to bake a second batch as I had a disaster with the first lot. It did mean that I got to drink some more bubbly though.

Fife Baking Club - Breakthrough Breast Cancer 17th October
Sorry it has taken so long to provide a write up after the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity even on the 17th October but I've had the dreaded lurgy for the past 8 weeks and haven't had the energy to switch on my lap top.
The charity event was a big success with loads of delicious bakes being provided by our bakers for the evening. Reubens was bursting at the seems with more than 30 people (bakers and eaters) in attendance.
As well as the cakes, there was a charity raffle including prizes donated from the following local businesses:
Fife Leisure Centres
Eastern Buffet
Grill 48
Ceramic Experience
The evening raised £300 but this was doubled to £600 with the matched funding received from my work.
